Raymond’s first short story collection,Occasional Demons, was shortlisted for the Saltire First Book award. The film of his first screenplay,The Practicality of Magnolia, won two BAFTA New Talent awards, including Best TV Drama, and was nominated in the Best Screenplay category.

Amy is a performer of poems, an editor of editions and lover of literature. She is the outgoing President of the Scottish Literature Society at Glasgow University, and has performed widely around Scotland including at the Doune the Rabbit Hole Festival in 2013.

GAV PRENTICE!
Glasgow based Prentice (also of euphoric pop duo Over The Wall) makes songs on his own that are angry and/or sad. He has just finished a Scotland wide tour of the new ceilidh-play Rantin’ with theatre makers Kieran Hurley and Julia Taudevin, and musician Drew Wright (aka Wounded Knee), and we are delighted to welcome him back to the R&B stage, especially in his home town.

STEPHEN WATT!
Dumbarton-born poet Stephen Watt’s take on Glasgow social realism earned him bragging rights in 2011 after beating 8,000 other poets at the Poetry Rivals Slam in Peterborough. Since then, Stephen’s debut book ‘Spit’ with Bonacia Ltd sold out at his Glasgow Waterstones launch during 2012, and this was followed by the Federation of Writers Vernal Equinox crown in 2013.
